MISSION STATEMENT


The City Clerk's Office is committed in providing the constituents of East Palo Alto with accurate and transparent official City records and resources to help understand the functions of local government in a timely manner; is dedicated in supporting and working with the City Council and City Departments in providing outstanding support for the residents and businesses of East Palo Alto; is a partner with the State of California and the Federal Government to ensure that laws and regulations are observed; and is faithful in ensuring that local elections are fair and transparent for all candidates and voters.

CITY COUNCIL RESOURCES
The City Clerk's Office manages the City Council Meetings, Agendas, Minutes, and Broadcasting of City Council Special and Regular Meetings.

The City Council meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 p.m. There is a special time, called "Community Forum," when members of the public are allowed to speak to the Council on matters that are not part of the Agenda for two (2) minutes.  Additionally, there is time throughout the Council meeting, when the public can comment on those items mentioned on the agenda.  For any of those times, members of the public must fill out a Speaker Slip that's available at the meeting and provide it to the City Clerk.
